Formula for Success Online

Many people are constantly searching for the secret to online success. Most never find it. Some go broke trying. Yet each year the resources spent in pursuit of the 'holy grail' of Internet marketing continue to grow.

This 'secret' is touted in thousands of places, in thousands of guises. The hype surrounding the subject is almost impenetrable. So dense that even the experienced can succumb. If you are just starting out online, chances are that you too will be sucked in. To save you from wasting much time and energy, if not money too, let me share the truth with you.

The REAL secret to your success is ...

YOU!

The most important criteria as to whether you 'make it' or not, is simply YOUR ATTITUDE. All other factors are secondary.

It's all about making it happen. And not giving up until it does.

You must be determined to succeed; believing that you can, and will do so. By it's very nature, such determination makes light of hard work, and enables you to tap into resources you perhaps hadn't realized you posses. You only fail when you stop trying.

There is no other secret. There is no magic formula.

There will never be a universal method of making money online that will work for everyone. Conversely however, believing in some of the myths propagated is guaranteed to bring nothing but fatigue. Anyone seeking instant rewards, or seriously expecting to make 'easy money' for doing almost nothing, will get nowhere. Without a change of attitude, they are doomed to failure.

Why?

a) Because such things don't exist in the real world. Whilst you might meet people that appear to be getting money for nothing, the reality is that at some time, somewhere, they have labored - and probably very hard - for the fruits they now enjoy.

And

b) Because these people don't want to succeed. Not *really*. Not with all their heart. If they did, nothing else would matter. They would be happy to work hard and make sacrifices. They would feel their goal *worth* devoting all of their energy to, instead of always seeking a 'comfortable' way.

People often say things like "I'd do anything to be able to live like him (or her)," in reference to somebody successful. In truth, most who make such claims aren't prepared to do much at all. They'd love to eat the cake, but don't like the idea of going into the kitchen and baking it.

Successful people are driven by the desire for positive results. They focus on their goals, not the process of attaining them. Failures are willing to accept poor or mediocre results, so long as what they do to achieve them is easy or enjoyable.

Successful men and women invest in their future, rather than wasting precious time looking for shortcuts or a free ride. And by 'invest' I don't necessarily mean money. Having more cash to spend won't in itself bring you success. The recent dot com failures are testament to that. Most spent millions before folding.

Starting out with little money simply means you have to work harder, and for longer, before you see noticeable results. Think of it like savings at the bank: the smaller the initial deposit, the slower it's growth will be. But it still grows.

Nor is your success dependent on knowledge. It's undeniable that the more relevant knowledge you have, the faster your progress should be. However, knowledge must be accompanied with the right attitude to be of real use. And if you have that, you can attain the same success starting from ground zero, learning as you go.

Being armed with the right knowledge is like travelling on the highway. You have the opportunity to put your foot down and proceed directly to your destination in the shortest time.

Not possessing that knowledge forces you to take the small and winding back roads. Progress is slower, and you might make a wrong turn or two along the way. However, as long as you focus on your goal and keep moving, you will still reach your objective. And wiser too.

The only formula for success online or anywhere else is determination, hard work and persistence. No matter how many obstacles, setbacks, or downright failures you may face along the way.

Realize that only a minority succeed, and that therefore the majority must be doing something wrong. Don't follow them. To succeed is to be different. Do the things failures don't like to do, and success will come to you.

You Know About success, why have you not become successful yet?

I know, this is a very sensitive question, and sometimes it hurts to face it. Why are some people successful and others not? Is it something in our make-up; something in our genes that prevent us from excelling in life? Or is it something that we can change and turn around? Is it simply because you do not know how to become successful?

Yes, some things can't be changed and some are very difficult to change. You may have been born with certain disabilities that make it impossible to perform certain tasks. For example, although blind people do astonishing things without their eyesight, there are some activities and jobs where there is no replacement for eyesight, such as being a fighter aircraft pilot.

Then also, you may not have the talent to perform certain tasks well, although lack of talent did not stop many people to become successful. I know of a few international pop stars who do not have excellent singing voices, but they make up for that in other areas, such as great songs, on-stage presence, on-stage gimmicks, excellent marketing, etc.

Excuses

Most people cite lack of MONEY as their number one excuse for not achieving success. However, Honda's founder, Soichiro Honda, Sony Corporation's founder, Akio Morita or even Apple's founder Steve Jobs prove them wrong.

The next most common resource that people say they lack for not achieving success is TIME. Yet we all work by the same clocks; we all have the same 24 hours in every day of our lives. It is surely therefore our ability to plan, manage and control how we use time that creates results, or lack of results.

Some people say they do not have the TALENT or the ABILITY to become successful. Two South African athletes prove them wrong. Oscar Pistorius and Natalie du Toit are both disabled athletes who regularly compete against able-bodied athletes. You can read more about these two courageous and wildly successful athletes later on in the lens.

And so there are a myriad of other excuses that people cite for not achieving success in life

What does it mean to achieve success?

Each one of us is unique, and to achieve success would therefore also have a different meaning to each of us.

* Some people want to be rich.

* Some people want to be famous.

* Some people want to be both rich and famous.

* Some people want to excel in sports.

* Some people want to be company presidents.

* Some people want to be great statesmen.

* Some people want to achieve high grades in their studies.

* Some people want to finish school.

* Some people want to earn a university degree.

* Some people want to complete marine boot camp.

* Some people want to win a marathon race.

* Some people want to complete a marathon race.

* Some people want to write a book.

* Some people want to finish projects at work on time and within budget.

* Some people want to start and run a profitable small business.

* Some people want to provide food aid to a starving nation.

* Some people want to teach illiterates in a third world nation.

* Some people want to climb the highest mountains in the world.

As you can see, there are so many perceptions of what is defined by success. You could most probably add to the list as well.

It is important to know what success means to YOU. It will make things easier on your journey to understand how to become successful.

No Mantra in Success !

How to become successful? It's a frequently asked question. And all too often the responses you get are, "Work hard," or "Set your sight on the goal and never lose focus". How many times have you heard that you can accomplish anything if you just put your mind to it?

It's the American way, isn't it? We're bombarded with stories of people who beat the odds, who fought against the grain and overcame their weaknesses to triumph and stand victorious. Work hard, never lose faith, get it done. While they have good intentions, this advice can actually lead some people astray. Embracing the 'you can be anything you want to be' creed can actually stifle your true potential and the quality of your life. Pretty strong statement, isn't it?

Let me explain.

Rather than being anything you want to be, why not focus on what you should be, what you're truly passionate about, who you are the core of your being. So many people get led down roads they believe they "want" when it's really what they think they ought to be doing, where the money is supposed to be, what their parents thought they should do, what they believe is the most sensible thing to do.

If they really looked inside themselves, they'd realize that it isn't what they want. It's what they've been taught to want, or conditioned to want. And if they have to struggle everyday to make it a reality, if they have to fight their natural tendencies or character traits to make it happen, they think that's all the better. After all, that's what they've been taught. They fought against the grain and won. What a great success story!

But it doesn't have to be that way.

When people are allowed to focus on their true strengths, who they are at the core of their being, they are 3 times more likely to report having an excellent quality of life. 3 times more likely! That's a staggering difference..and proven time and again to hold true. When you're on your truth path, life flows more effortlessly, events align, doors open, and even stumbling blocks appear minor - all because you're doing what you love. It's a huge difference.

Become A Successful People

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, to succeed is to attain a desired object or end. What you are trying to succeed at? Are you trying to get out of debt? Get organized? Enjoy life more? Lose Weight? What ever you your hopes and dreams are, success will not simply fall from the sky. You will have to work towards your goals in order to achieve them.

The first thing that you must do is make a decision. What do you want to accomplish? If you don't choose something specific enough, you will not know when you have succeeded. Decide what it is that you want to achieve, and make a plan to get it done. You have to know what you want in order to focus your efforts on a specific goal.

A twentieth century philosopher, Albert Schweitzer, once said, "Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful." You will reach your goals if you enjoy yourself. Don't tell yourself that you will be happy when certain things take place, or that you will be glad when you reach a certain point. Decide to be happy now. Keep in mind that you are on your way, and enjoy the trip. It will not always be easy, but you can smile knowing that everything you are going through now is because your dreams will come true when all is said and done.

Your joy will be the motivation that you need to do what it takes to be successful.

If you have trouble being content now, it may be because you have a lack of confidence. Do you believe that you can achieve this dream? Do you think that you have what it takes to be successful? Taking the time to learn what you need to learn is all part of achieving success. Practicing things that you are not that good at is the only way to get better. Try not to judge yourself based on past mistakes, or even the way that you are now. Give yourself a clean slate and move forward. Do what you can to move closer to your goal, and celebrate each small victory.

Understand that every successful person failed before they became successful. If you feel that you have already failed, then you are on your way to success. There will be obstacles in your way, but you can not allow them to discourage you.

Decide to be happy now, move slowly towards your goal, and don't give up. That is how you become successful.

Struggle with success ?

Many people do struggle with success, but the question is why?

Very often people that struggle with success are doing so, because they are working against their beliefs and programming. They will plan, set goals and work on a particular project for a while and then they give up. They reach a point where their thinking and mindset starts to turn to doubt and then to excuses. Then they have the reasons and excuses to justify their giving up, and they start looking for the next thing.

This is the kind of struggle with success that I am talking about. The above example is very common in the lives of many people that are striving for success. They might not give up on success, but they give up on the individual attempts. I admire the drive that they possess, a drive that keeps them trying to succeed over and over. However, you can see that they have started to form a pattern in their quest for success. In their struggle for success they continue to look for other avenues to reach the success that they desire, but their pattern keeps them doing and experiencing the same thing over and over.
Is There A Pattern In You Struggle With Success?

Is There A Pattern In Your Struggle With Success?

Their patterns are controlling their struggle with success. Without realizing what is happening and controlling them, they make choices and decisions that follow the same pattern that they have experienced previously. These patterns are part of their programming. The same type of programming that controls so many things in all of our lives.

I can’t tell you what type of programming or experiences have put you or them on this struggle with success track. It could have been any number of things that they have experienced or even witnessed growing up that made such an impression on them. Everyone has had different programming, because their life and experiences are different.

If you are experiencing a struggle with success, you need to take a step back and look at the big picture. Can you see a pattern forming when you look back at your attempts for success? Do you take the same steps of selecting an idea, planning, goal setting and working on the project? Do you work on the project for the same period of time before your thinking turns to doubt? Do you start seeing reasons for your lack of success? Do you start looking for others avenues to peruse success? Are you starting to see a pattern here? Answer these questions and determine if you are struggling with success.

Take the time and objectively look at your past experiences to see if you struggle with success. To break out of your pattern you need to change the way that you pursue success. You know the old saying: “You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results”. Learn some new things, read some new books, change it up and break the pattern that makes you struggle with success.
